There’s something to be said for spending a weekend at home.

And so far, this weekend has been just what I needed. I thought I would take a break from the travel posts to share a few updates from life at home.

Nallely came over for brunch this morning, and the two of us sat at the table from 11 am until 3 pm snacking and chatting! It’s amazing how quickly time passes when you’re with good friends.

How sweet is this arrangement Nallely brought for the kitchen table?

My home has taken on an extremely minimalistic personality as of late – without the color from flowers and plants, it feels very cold! I’m always amazed by the amount of life flowers and house plants can bring to the home, and I’ve really been loving how the palm looks next to my sofa! For a while, he was living on the balcony but I decided to move him inside since the all-day-sunlight was getting to be a bit much.

I haven’t done a whole lot of interior design work to my flat lately besides rearranging my plants, changing out the flowers, shifting some side tables, and moving a few prints around. However, I’m loving how my “This Must Be The Place” print looks hanging on the wall behind the Ginkgo chair. When you walk into the flat and look down the hallway into the living room, it’s the first thing your eye sees. And I have to be honest, it’s always nice to come home after a few weeks of travel or even a long day at work.

That’s all for now!
