It’s not very often that you hear people speaking about the beauty of Hungary’s countryside, and I’m not sure why because it’s crazy beautiful!

But perhaps, that’s the very reason why Tihany Hungary so nice – it’s quite and uncrowded. The rolling hills of Tihany are calm and rustic – perfect for travelers looking for an escape from the city. Sven and I spent a day exploring this peaceful peninsula which juts out into Lake Balaton.

Despite its hilliness, the village is easy to get around on foot – I also imagine is would be great by bike. We spoke about coming back to this place with friends because it would be the perfect region to rent a big house on the lake… perhaps with access to a sailboat (because Sven and I are so great at sailing)!

This white, off-shoulder midi dress is one of my summer favorites. I found it at a local store, but you can shop similar styles below!
