Once again it’s time for a quick update and photo recap. Below, you’ll find a few highlights from the way life has looked since my last update. Summer is in full swing, our calendar has been packed, and things are going great despite the endless busyness.
Scrolling through my iPhone photo gallery to gather the images for this post, it sank-in just how busy we’ve actually been. Sven always says that I have an incredible memory for daily details, but the truth is that I rely heavily on my camera reel. It’s become a catalog of life — time marked and location stamped for added convenience. A bit eerie when you think about actually, but convenient all the same.
Since my last entry in May, we’ve visited the US (for some quality time with my family), Italy (twice because… it’s Italy), Portugal (as a surprise trip for my birthday), and Denmark (for my favorite annual design festival with my best friend). I also got to celebrate my 30th with friends just as I dreamt it here Munich’s rose garden, received my largest shipment of marble tables to-date, and co-hosted my first exhibition for By Rebecca Goddard.
I’ve also had the chance to work on the curation of a vintage collection for a small Copenhagen based brand called POUF, along with many other exciting projects that are still underway. It’s been a busy but fulfilling season. Tomorrow, we’re heading to the Netherlands to visit some friends for a few days, and then the following weekend we’re going to London. I’ve never been before, so I’m incredibly excited but also a bit nervous I’ll fall in love with the city and want to move there. If I can find the time, perhaps I’ll share a London-specific post with all my favorite highlights.
