What makes an icon? It’s a question that Danish lighting champion, Louis Poulsen undoubtedly knows the answer to. With an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, versatility, and timeless silhouettes, many of their designs have rightfully earned a badge of iconicism.
[AD] Amongst those is the PH 3/2 Table Lamp, which recently found a place in our home. Designed by Poul Henningsen and adapted from his original three-shade system, this lamp is a true icon from the 1920s. Beyond its perfectly balanced proportions and exquisite lines, the classic materials of this piece allow it to gracefully harmonize with practically every interior. While I opted for the sleek black metallised finish, the PH 3/2 is also available in brass and high luster chrome. The warm glow given from the blown-glass shades creates the softest atmosphere in a room, and I’ve enjoyed moving this beauty all around.
