Over the past months, I’ve been busy working behind the scenes on the development of a few new products for my design label, By Rebecca Goddard. There’s so much work involved when it comes to bringing one of these designs to life, so today I thought I would share a bit more about the most recent addition to my brand’s standard offering.
I’m absolutely elated to finally launch these new versions of my Ever Table — not only in a gorgeous new marble option, but also in an entirely new size. A client and dear friend of mine asked if I could create a sized-down version of the Ever Table for her stunning turn-of-the-century Berlin apartment. So after going through the development a prototyping, I quickly decided that this custom version needed to be a standard option. The scaled-down size makes this table perfectly proportioned for smaller spaces such as a breakfasting corner or dressing table, but I could also imagine it as the eye-catching centerpiece in a grand entryway.
In addition to this new size, I’m also incredibly excited to introduce this expressive afyon viola marble. Similar to calacatta viola marble, afyon viola exhibits dramatic veining with creamy off-white shades contrasted by hues of deep purples and inky blues. It’s the perfect variety for anyone who wants to make a statement in their home while still holding onto a feeling of timelessness and luxury.
And at last, after waiting many months, I’ve finally restocked my Mixed Marble Coasters! The first drop sold out so quickly and it took me a bit of time to get the second stock in because these coasters are made from remnants collected by my stonemason. But now they are back in stock and just in time for the holiday season! The set includes four beautifully hand-finished coasters in grey, beige, white, and brown marble colors.
