Transparent ~ A Crossover In Design & Sound

    August 5, 2022
    Transparent Speaker, White

Based out of Stockholm, Transparent is a brand that’s focused on creating long enduring sound solutions which are defined by design and quality. While the aesthetics of this system are utterly timeless, all of the functional elements are completely replaceable so that the sound and connection can evolve with technology.

[AD] Before I go any further to touch on the sound quality of these speakers, I have to mention the undeniably impeccable design. When it comes to bringing electronics into our home, I often struggle to find designs that suit my taste and harmonize well with our interior. The Small Transparent Speaker hits all the marks and is absolute eye-candy for minimalist like me. There’s something so pure and honest about the pared-back design, and I must applaud Transparent for creating a loudspeaker system from such unexpected materials. Made from a contentious aluminum frame and tempered glass, this system is a marvelous feat of thoughtful design and engineering. Beyond their beautiful looks, all Transparent systems are designed so that the internal components can be replaced or upgraded as technology evolves. And despite the compact size of the unit, it packs some serious sound — sound that’s crystal-clear as the design itself.

The current components are compatible with all contemporary streaming setup (such as Apple AirPlay, Sonos, Amazon Echo and Google Cast) and of course the system is both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled. I’m not the techy type, but I will say that I was streaming my favorite Spotify playlist within minutes of unpacking. And the depth of the sound quality and base has given me a whole new appreciation for each song. It felt like I was hearing my favorite tracks for the first time — with all the soul and richness the artists’ originally intended to give.

In the images below, you can see the different corners of our home where I tested out our Transparent speaker. Essentially, it looks striking in every setting and I love the way the morning light shines through the glass. This design comes in both white and black and is the smaller of Transparent’s loudspeakers. If you’re on the fence between the two sizes, I can say that the small speaker has ample volume. It goes so surprisingly loud that I haven’t even tested it’s max volume out of consideration for our neighbors.

Because these speakers are designed so simplistically, I know we’ll always have a place in our home for them even as our taste might shift throughout the years to come. So if you’re looking for a beautiful sound system that blends perfectly into your interior while still standing out in a subtle way, Transparent is a really good option. I could also imagine that these would make a wonderful gift for anyone dear who loves music and design. You can check out more of their products from the links below.

Mejuri ~ Fine For The Everyday

    July 21, 2022
    Mejuri Jewelry

My favorite pieces of jewelry are the ones that fit well to my everyday life and pair easily with my simplest outfits — pieces that are fine yet understated like the jewelry made by Mejuri.

[AD] If you’re looking for fine jewelry that works well for everyday wear, Mejuri can absolutely become your go-to. I have a few pieces from their collection, and they’ve been quick to become my favorite items to embellish my daily looks (both casual or dressy). Most of Mejuri’s designs are made from solid gold, white gold, or silver and each item is crafted so finely, they’ll last you a lifetime. My Diamond Line Mini Hoops are my undeniable favorite earrings, in fact I hardly take them off. What I love most about this set is the snug closure which I don’t have to worry about opening without my notice. Their beautiful, dainty, and super comfortable to sleep or shower with. I also quite adore my Mejuri rings, specifically the Croissant style which is a bit more of a statement piece. But both pair so well together and make even my most basic outfits feel chic. Mejuri is offering fine jewelry from precious metals and real gemstones, but their prices are truly unbeatable — something they’ve been able to accomplish by cutting out the middle-man by crafting all of their pieces themselves. Be sure to check out their full collection

    NORR11 ~ Oku Coffee Table

    July 15, 2022
    Norr 11 Oku Coffee Table

When it comes to choosing furniture for our home, I like to take things slow — bringing in each piece one by one so that there’s a chance to build a harmony between the designs. The Oku Coffee Table by NORR11 is the most recent addition to our living room, and I couldn’t be happier with how well it ties together the space as a whole.

[AD] Following a design philosophy that bonds Scandinavian and Japanese tradition, the Oku table is a piece that’s defined by its simplicity and fine sculptural details. In addition to the coffee table, the series also includes dining tables in both round and rectangular forms. Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl are the talented designers behind the Oku series who sought to create a balance between lightness and heaviness by playing with the proportions of the table surface and legs.

In particular, I love the offset placement of the turned oak legs and their gentle bulbus form — a subtle irregularity that sets this design apart from other simple wood tables. Since launching the collection in 2017, NORR11 has completely reformulated the varnish as a water-base with a beautiful matte finish. This new formula is more eco friendly and safer for the environment, as well as the craftsmen and women who apply the color. We have the table in the dark smoked oak varnish, but it’s also available in natural oak, light smoked oak, and black. The dark smoked oak color gives the veneer and solid oak legs an incredible depth and richness, and I quite like the way it contrasts the light tones we already have in the room.

NORR11 is a Copenhagen based interiors brand with a focus on creating the next wave of design classics founded on timelessness and modernity. The pieces in their collection reflect a sensitivity towards form, craftsmanship, and functionality that runs deep in both Scandinavian and Asian design principals. Their range of products encompasses lounge seating, chairs, tables, lighting, and more — pieces that are each defined by their originality and quality.

    Spring & Early Summer Snaps

    June 2, 2022
Rebecca Goddard, iPhone Snaps, Summer Beige Aesthetic

The feeling of summer is here and I’m ready for the warmer days ahead. Below you’ll find a mix of iPhone shots that I’ve snapped throughout spring into June. If you’ve visited my blog before than you already know what to expect from this post — part life update, part photo overshare.

But today is slightly more special than other days however because today I’m celebrating my birthday… twenty-nine years on this beautiful earth and my final year before hitting the big ‘three-O’. I’ve always loved having my birthday in June — summer is beginning and everyone is ready for the happy things that accompany the season. But I also appreciate that June feels a bit like a half-way point through the year (although not quite), and as I’ve gotten older I like to spend the day reflecting on the direction of life.

This year has been remarkably busy (hence the lack of blog updates) and I think that the whole world is still playing catch-up from the pandemic. Sven and I have already taken quite a few trips, both within Europe and overseas (Czech, France, Mexico, US, Austria, Poland) and we have many more on the books. It’s been exciting but also intense! In early May, we flew back to the US to finally celebrate our marriage with family and friends on that side of the globe, and at the end of this month we’ll be celebrating once again in Hamburg with our German family and friends from all around Europe. I still have quite a few things to plan for the party, but it always comes together in the end. We have a lot of excitement to squeeze in between now and then though. Sven and I are heading down to Tuscany tomorrow for a relaxed birthday escape, and then the following week my parents will arrive and I’ll be in full host mode until the end of the month!

That’s all the rambling I’ll do for now though. The rest of this post is about the visuals! Hope you enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite snaps from this spring and summer. You might be able to spy a few new pieces that moved into our home (hello beautiful Twin Sofa and Flos Taccia lamp of my dreams!). You can of course find most of the other items on the ‘Shop Our Home‘ directory page.

    Xx, Rebecca

Hotel Wiesergut ~ An Alpine Paradise

    April 28, 2022
Wiesergut Hotel, Design Hotel Austria Alps

Nestled between the snowy mountain peaks of Hinterglemm, Hotel Wiesergut is an Alpine paradise that waits to welcome you. Just a few weeks ago, Sven and I had the luxury of escaping to this gorgeous Austrian design hotel for a relaxing weekend of serene mountain scenery complimented by refined design, incredible food, friendly hospitality, and all of the comforts we could have imagined.

    Hotel Wiesergut, Hinterglemm Austria

    ~

    Accommodations & Amenities
During our visit to Wiesergut, Sven and I had the pleasure of staying in one of the hotel’s four Garden Suites. The spacious room came complete with its own fireplace, bathtub, and private terrace with outdoor hotpot and breathtaking mountain views. I particularly appreciated the east-facing positioning of our suite’s expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Each morning, we awoke to an amber glow of light flooding our room as the sun slowly made its way up from behind the snowy mountain tops in the distance — a perfect view to wake up to. On top of enjoying the Garden Suite, we also took our time to indulge in Wiesergut’s stunning bathhouse and spa. Both the indoor and outdoor pool are heated to compliment the season, and there’s ample space to relax in-between your time spent in the sauna or steam room. Those who are up for an added layer of relaxation are welcome to book one of the spa’s many treatments as well.

    ~

    Atmosphere & Design
Every single detail within the hotel has been custom designed, placing a refined emphasis on nearness to nature. The result is an enveloping atmosphere that’s both calming and subdued — an environment that calls you to relax and connect with the moment and your surroundings. The hotel itself is divided into three main buildings: the original heritage hotel which houses the main guest rooms; the new portion which houses the hotel lounge, restaurant, and suites; and the bathhouse which houses the pool, spa, and fitness area. All areas are connected and centralize around the beautiful open courtyard, where you will find the ring of fire. The architectural elements and furnishings strike a beautiful balance between mid-century modern and japandi infused minimalism. Not a single detail was amiss yet nothing felt overdone or distracting thanks to the beautiful harmony between colors, materials, and space.
    ~

    Breakfast & Dining
At Wiesergut, quality is the red-thread that ties together each and every experience — of course dining is no exception. A gourmet breakfast is served every day until 11am, including fresh baked bread, local mountain cheeses, and many ripe ingredients sourced from nearby producers. Both evenings during our stay we didn’t venture further than the hotel restaurant for dinner, and the experience each night was absolutely fabulous. Every day, the chef prepares an unique menu comprised of several creative dishes with a slow-food approach. The menu is flexible and can be structure to your liking, and there are a few classics which remain on the menu throughout the season (such as their mouth-watering truffle pasta which I’m still dreaming about). Simply put… a visit to Wiesergut wouldn’t be complete without partaking in one of their slow and delicious dinners.

    ~

    Local Surroundings
Sven and I were completely happy spending our entire weekend within the walls of Wiesergut. So happy in fact, we didn’t step off the hotel grounds for the entirety of our stay. Those who are interested in soaking up the local Alpine surrounds will find a world of options just outside. Wiesergut sits right at the foot of Saalbach’s ski slopes, making it the ideal hotel for winter-sport enthusiasts. And during the summer months, the snowy peaks which surround Glemm Valley transition to lush green — perfect for hikers and mountain bikers who are eager to explore the forests and trails. I can only recommend a visit, no matter the season…

House of Kaarigari ~ Design Informed by Slow Living

    April 22, 2022
    Marble Bowl, House of Kaarigari

Collecting decorative pieces for the home is something I’ve always done slowly — a process of hand selecting each item one-by-one and layering them in an understated way so that each can receive the attention it deserves. Amongst some of my favorite pieces are these handmade marble designs by House of Kaarigari. Each bowl has a delicate character of its own, putting the focus on sculptural forms and long-enduring materials and craft.

[AD] Of course these pieces are a dream to look at, but I’ve also enjoyed the many ways I’ve found to integrate them into our daily life. Sometimes I used the beautiful Mira Ruffled Bowl as a centerpiece entirely on its own, and sometimes I place it in our entryway, using it as a gorgeous catch-all for our keys, wallets, ect. Right now the Pedestal Marble Bowl has a designated place on our coffee table, filled to the brim with our collection of polaroid photos we’ve shot over the years — a nontraditional photo album of sorts that guests are welcome to sort through (I’ve emptied the photos from the bowl just for these images however, simply because I like to hold a few memories for ourselves). Regardless of the way their used or displayed, I know that these pieces will have a place in our home for many years to come, just as the founders of House of Kaarigari intended.

In the short interview below, House of Kaarigari’s founder and I discuss the different ways in which a personal affinity for slow living and conscious production influence the products they bring to life through the works of skilled artisans…

    ~

    An Interview with Kriti B.
    Founder, House of Kaarigari
Q: How does House of Kaarigari go about sourcing pieces which represent your brand’s ethos for slow living?
A: My business partner and I (brother and sister actually!) had found ourselves locked into corporate careers and the grind of daily life. A few years down the line, we realized this really wasn’t our calling… we wanted to do something that not just manifested our creative talents but also moved us into a different direction — a way of living that always allured us. And that’s where we connected with this concept. Slow living advocates the chance for us to reconnect and find ourselves. It signals a return to a simpler pace, which allows us to be fully alert and present in the here and now — savoring time and moments as we go through them, reconnecting with our being.
Q: And how does this idea of slow living influence the way your products are made?
A: Contrary to the word, being ‘slow’ doesn’t mean wasting time, but rather appreciating that taking time to do things well will inevitably result in a more fulfilling experience. It’s about allowing yourself the space to respond and react to things with care rather than haste and ensuring that you make the MOST of your time. At House of Kaarigari, we like to promote this philosophy and bring it to life through our products. We support small makers and artisans dedicated to their craft. We believe in the value of their work. The objects they create are rich in narrative and the idiosyncrasies inherent in their process carried within all those lovely, subtle nuances lost in modern production.
Q: It’s obvious that a great deal of skilled craftsmanship is required in creating each of your carved marble pieces, specifically the iconic Ruffled Bowls. Can you share more about the artisans you work with and the tradition behind their craft?
A: The craftsmanship and the passion of our craftsmen is unparalleled. A key business decision for us was to work on a fair-trade basis and remove the middleman. Yes, it does pose its unique set of challenges, especially given our small scale of business; yet it ensures that the artisan gets his/her due. A lot of our artisans are master craftsmen who also run their own training centers — ushering in the next generation of artisans while continuing their crafts. Our Ruffled bowl came to us after much deliberation and rounds of sampling exercises till we arrived at the right product, something which we would be proud to have sitting on our mantlepiece.
Q: When it comes to your vintage designs, how is House of Kaarigari discerning which pieces come into the collection? What’s the curation process like when deciding on these one-of-a-kind pieces?
A: Our creative process combines a whole lot of self-inspiration, which also sometimes becomes a reiterative process as thoughts and designs evolve in our heads. Some things are omnipresent, such as subtle design accents and neutral colors… what changes is the manifestation. We know our customers have an affinity for the soulful. They believe that the objects they surround themselves with are better when they tell a story. They know that the mark of true luxury lies in the dedication to process, material, and design. They are drawn to investing in the future over following trends and feel that the value of objects only increases with time as they capture and preserve the story of their use.

    Louis Poulsen ~ Reimagining A Mid-century Icon

    April 21, 2022
Louis Poulsen PH 5 Retake, Interior Design, Rebecca Goddard

Today I’m excited to introduce Louis Poulsen’s newest version of Poul Henningsen’s classic, the PH 5 Retake. In an effort to upcycle existing lamps, vintage PH 5s or timeworn pieces with surface imperfections are stripped of their paint to reveal the beautiful metals underneath. The result is an exquisitely raw finish which hints to Louis Poulsen’s vision for a more conscious world ahead, as well as the design’s success as a long-lasting symbol of Danish design tradition.

[AD]The story of the PH series began nearly a century ago when Henningsen was commissioned to design the lighting for Copenhagen’s Forum exhibition hall. The three-shade copper lamps developed for the hall would become the foundation of the PH lighting family, and over the decades the concept was adapted in many variations. In 1958 at the Copenhagen Design Museum, Henningsen introduced the now-iconic PH 5 model. Unlike the earlier three-shade models, the PH 5 featured a trumpet-shaped shade on top as well as a light-defusing frosted glass insert below, creating a 100% glare-free pendant that could be hung low over a table while softly illuminating the other surroundings. PH 5 of course went on to become one of Louis Poulsen’s most successful designs and has been sold in a spectrum of colorful paint finishes for many years.

Now taking a diversion from color, PH 5 Retake puts an emphasis on materiality and the longevity of the lamp’s beautiful silhouette. By carefully removing the paint finish, Louis Poulsen is able to give old PH 5s a new life. Each lamp is entirely one of a kind, and as of today only 100 PH 5 lamps have undergone the refinishing process. To protect the metal parts, PH 5 Retake lamps are coated with a dry lubricant that will allow the aluminum and steel to slowly patinate over time — furthering the singularity of each piece. Because of the limited quantity, PH 5 Retake can only be purchased direct from Louis Poulsen so be sure to visit their website if you’re interested in giving a home to one of these old-but-new classics.

New Works ~ Sculptural Design Classics

    April 11, 2022
    Neutral Interior Design Inspiration

When choosing pieces for our home, I tend to gravitate towards designs with soft lines and sculptural forms. Amongst my favorites in our flat are two unique designs by New Works, a Copenhagen-based brand with a collection that blurs the lines between art and design.

[AD] New Work’s beautiful Covent Lounge is the latest addition to our furniture collection, and I love the softness it brings to the space. Designed by Arde Design Studio, this lounge is but one piece from the eye-catching Covent series — a collection that includes sofas, love-seats, dining chairs, and bar stools. The chair’s generous curves are what make it feel grounded and inviting while the fully upholstered base adds an optical element of comfort. Best of all, New Works has recently added the Covent Lounge to their quick-ship program which means the piece can be delivered in less than two weeks. Those eager to order have three textile options to choose from in stunning bouclé: dark taupe, hemp, and lana (the dreamy off-white shown here).

The Kizu Table Lamp, designed by Lars Tornøe, is the second New Work’s design which has found a forever place in our home. The sculptural balance and materiality of this piece is absolute perfection in my eyes, and I love how the opaque acrylic globe seemingly floats atop the marble base. We already had one of these lamps for a few years, but I decided to add a second lamp to our collection when we moved to Munich. The set frames our bed beautifully, making a soft but artful statement in the monochromatic space and giving a soothing glow in the evening hours. The Kizu Lamp comes in three sizes: large, small (shown in our home), and portable which is the latest addition to the series. Each size is available in three gorgeous marble types: white, black and grey.

Kristina Dam Studio ~ Soothing Hand Care

    March 29, 2022
Kristina Dam Studio Hand Care, Minimal Soap & Lotion, Aesthetic Skincare Products, Cult Beauty, RG Daily Blog

Just in time for the start of spring, Kristina Dam Studio has introduced an all new collection of bath items, featuring a range of hand-care accoutrements — so lovely in fact, they’re sure to earn center-stage on your bathroom vanity.

[AD] To mark the shift into a new season, I love updating the fragrances that fill our home. Bath accessories are no exception, so the timing of Kristina Dam’s launch of hand-care products couldn’t have been more perfect. Each hand soap and lotion is made in Denmark and comes from a beautifully scented blend of nourishing vegan ingredients. There are three scents to choose from which include: Modern (flowers, orange, and sage), Classic (orange blossom, lemongrass, and wood), and Minimal (clary sage, cedarwood and green leaves). The last of the three is my personal favorite, and I love the fact that the hand soap has been formulated as an exfoliating scrub to help gently buff away the dryness of winter time. And of course I can’t go without mentioning that, like everything designed by Kristina Dam Studio, the packaging is oh-so-easy on the eyes. You can find the links to all my favorites below.

    Life Updates & iPhone Snaps

    January 16, 2022
Neutral Living Room - Rebecca Goddard

Well, here we are… halfway through January and I’m just now getting around to sharing my first blogpost of the year. Part life update, part photo dump — these are just a few of the things that have been occupying my time and thoughts lately.

Probably the biggest news for the new year is that I’ve been making lots of progress with the brand development for By Rebecca Goddard. After first launching my designs in autumn last year, I’ve been making some improvements while developing new products and line extensions. I’ve also been trialing some new beautiful material options that will be available soon. My latest manufacturing order arrived in Munich just a few days ago (600 kg of stone!) which meant that my week was busy with unpacking product and organizing client deliveries. I’ve begun working with a new stonemason and their craft is incredible. I’m so excited for what this change means for my label and the pieces I’ll be able to offer.

I’ve also been busy shooting several home stories that I’ll be publishing here on the blog in the weeks to come — all focused on design and fashion for brands that I completely adore. It’s been difficult to find the chance to shoot imagery for these stories since the sun has been MIA lately. This winter has been extra gloomy, but I’ve managed to squeeze in shooting time spontaneously throughout the weeks whenever the sun finally decides to make an appearance. Apart from that, Sven and I have been taking life slow and keeping mostly to ourselves at home. It’s a bit boring but I think it’s the most responsible way to be for the moment. I am hoping to make it to Berlin in a few weeks to visit my girlfriends though — I haven’t been back to the city since we moved away in May. It feels long overdue.

Also, I’ve touched on this topic a little bit on Instagram recently, but taking care of my mental health has become one of my top priorities right now. Like everyone else on planet earth, life has been off kilter and adjustment to “the new norm” (whatever that is) has been slow and confusing — particularly because it seems to change everyday. I’m appreciative for my health and all the many comforts I get to experience in little and big ways. But of course, none of us are immune to the winter-time blues or this every-lingering covid doom. Even on sunny days, there still seems to be a cloud hanging over our heads, doesn’t there?

Shifting my mindset to take each day one day at a time has helped me the most, but I’d be dishonest to forgo admitting that I’ve struggled with some depression in recent months. Having resilience through times like these is something I’m normally good at, but this time around has been harder than usual. Another things that has helped me tremendously has been talking openly to my friends and family and letting them know where I’m at mentally while inviting them to check-in on me too. And I’ve also been to my doctor who has put me on some extra strength vitamin D. Mental health isn’t really the focus of this blog, but I think that it’s important to be open about these types of realities especially when so many other people are in a similar place. And hopefully sharing my own experience with depression/seasonal affective disorder will help others feel less lonely in their own.

Hope you all stay well and enjoy your weekend.

    Xx, Rebecca

Oi Soi Oi ~ Nordic Design Meets Vietnamese Tradition

    December 15, 2021
Oi Soi Oi Umbrella Lamp - Interior Design

Based between Denmark and Vietnam, Oi Soi Oi is an interiors brand specialized in marrying Scandinavian design with traditional Vietnamese craft. Today I’m excited to shine a spotlight on their unique selection of handcrafted lighting that fuses together Danish design principles with both the artistry and exotic materials of Vietnam.

[AD] Oi Soi Oi’s Indochina Collection encompasses a stunning range of lighting elements in a mix of shapes and sizes, including the Umbrella design featured here in our home. Each piece is carefully wrapped in handwoven mulberry silk and trimmed with a cotton ribbon — a detail that becomes an extraordinary focal point of the design when a strong color is used for contrast. There are several gorgeous shades of silk and cotton trim to choose from within the collection — from dusty rose offset by pale pink trim to warm beige offset by stark black. But in keeping with the neutral color palette throughout our home, the tonal Umbrella in off-white was the obvious choice for our bedroom. It’s voluminous, airy and adds the perfect amount of elegance thanks to the subtle sheen of the delicate silk. In a room where relaxation is the main objective, finding a lamp that offers soft and defused light is an absolute must, and I love the way light gently glows through the Umbrella’s luxe material. The detailing of this silk-swathed lamp is absolutely exquisite, and the subdued design is perfect for the bedroom, drawing the eye overhead without overpowering the other elements in the space.

In the interview below, Oi Soi Oi’s founders Britt and Christina share details about the traditional Vietnamese artistry that sets their pieces apart from other Scandinavian informed designs. I hope you enjoy reading these personal insights about their designs and the artisans who make them…

An Interview with Britt Goodall & Christina Thorbøll
    Oi Soi Oi’s Founders
Q: The pieces in Oi Soi Oi’s collection represent a beautiful fusion of craft and tradition from both Scandinavia and Vietnam. While these two cultures are vastly different, are there any shared values or similarities between the two when it comes to design?
A: We have worked many years in Vietnam focusing on interior design. There has been a noticeable change in design during the last 15 years, going from for instance heavy mother of pearl inlaid furniture to now a much more fun style with colours and very creative solutions to home interior design. The young Vietnamese designers love to use traditional fabric and materials and combine it to contemporary designs. In a way the young designers are much more daring than we are, but the common ground is our desire to use the fantastic craftmanship.
Q: For centuries, silk has been an important part of Vietnam’s rich textile history. How does Oi Soi Oi honor this tradition through the artisan craftsmanship of your lampshades?
A: Vietnam is famous for their silk production – the Ha Dong silk Oi Soi Oi uses was also regarded as the most sophisticated silk in Indochina by the French. The silkworms are fed with mulberry leaves and the silk threads are woven on traditional looms. We very carefully choose the best silk before we hand dye it to the colour we like. The whole process are made by hand and small variations can be seen in the silk. We appreciate this and feel the silk becomes alive.
Q: With each piece being carefully made from sensitive natural materials, I’m sure there’s a tremendous amount of time and artistry required by your craftsmen and women in Vietnam. Can you share a bit more about the way Oi Soi Oi is producing, and the partnership you’ve built with your workshop?
A: Our philosophy has from the beginning been to choose family owned smaller workshops – and creating a strong partnership with them. We are proud to say that the people working with us have done so, in most cases, from Oi Soi Oi’s beginning nearly 15 years ago. We believe in being fair and loyal to the people we work with. This starts with a fair payment. Opposite working with bigger factories we have a bond with all our craftsmen and women. In many cases it feels like family. It is hard work to create the quality we like, but we can also have fun together and are often sharing a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
